The QuickEasy Planning Board

The QuickEasy Planning Board combines the simplicity of a manual production board with the processing power of a computer to free production staff from wasting valuable time attending to progress queries. In addition it ensures that your jobs are delivered on time while also driving down overtime costs by keeping your production centres loaded.

The Planning Board consists of production 'Stages' which are arranged as columns in a logical order from left to right. Each Stage contains a list of 'Tasks' which are coloured according to their status. The Estimated Task hours and Cumulative hours are displayed on each Task to provide Stage loadings and to show how many hours must pass before a Task is scheduled to commence.

In addition to the 'Card View', the Planning Board can also be published to the QuickEasy Calendar - this provides an indication of when Tasks are scheduled to Start and Finish.

When a new Work Order is created, the Planning Board is automatically populated with the Tasks that require planning and when the Work Order is closed, the Tasks are again deleted to ensure the Planning Board remains up to date and only reflects active Work Orders.

While planning, Tasks can be prioritised by dragging them up or down. The flexibility to move Tasks from one Stage to another Stage is also provided. Once the Task commences, however, the QuickEasy Job Tracker will update the Planning Board in real time.
