The QuickEasy Quotations module uses artificial intelligence and logical input wizards to quickly and accurately estimate the cost of any job and generates a personalised Quote letter that can be e-mailed directly from within QuickEasy. Templates can be created for frequently occurring jobs.

The Quotations module is much more than just a calculator that produces a selling price, however. Every Quotation incorporates all the materials, services and parameters required for the job. This allows all the following transactions in the QuickEasy workflow to cascade from the information captured in a Quotation. ie. the Sales Order, Work Order, Purchase order, Delivery Note and Invoice. Moreover, it prevents historical Quotations from changing when your material price lists or hourly rates are updated.

For manufacturers with a standard range of products, QuickEasy provides a line-item Quotation model with the ability to display product images and specifications on the Quote Letter.

For jobbing manufacturers and printing companies (where every job is different), QuickEasy provides the following estimating models:

• Printing - In-house: This industry standard Pre-press > Printing > Finishing estimating model caters elegantly for the nuances of all the different types of printing including Web, Litho, Flexographic, Continuous forms, Screen, Digital, Large Format etc. Costs are grouped according to printing type to prevent users from, for instance, adding litho ink to a screen printed job.
• Printing - Outsourced (Print Broking): This model enables you to enter the job specification, e-mail a Request for Quotation to approved suppliers, capture the prices when their Quotations are received and flag the price that your Quotation will be based on. In-house Pre-press and Finishing costs may also be added to the Quotation. The Quote Letter from an outsourced Quotation is identical to that of an in-house Quotation, so it's not apparent to your customers when you are outsourcing a job.
• General Manufacturing: In this model you enter the Services and the Materials required for the job. Materials can be linked to Services, for example, if the cost of Welding Rods is linked to a Welding Service, the number of Welding Rods required will automatically change as the quantity of the Welding Service changes.

• Quantities: Prices for an unlimited number of quantities can be calculated on one Quotation - this removes the need for confusing run-on prices. Prices for each quantity can be adjusted seperately or you can simply override the selling price or unit price. Generating price lists is easy.
• Rounding: QuickEasy enables you to round the selling price to the nearest Rand/Dollar/Euro etc. or to round the unit price to the nearest cent/penny etc.
• Description Generator: A description of the job is extracted from the materials, services and parameters used in the Quotation, saving time and eliminating human error. Users are, however, allowed to edit the description by renaming captions and overriding individual items. Highlights are used to indicate which items have been changed.
• Cost Summary: A summary of costs is always visible in the right-hand panel of the Quotation window. The summary develops as the Quotation is created and displays the breakdown of Materials, Services, Profits, Commission, Direct Costs and Value Added. 
• Updating: When a job is repeated, the Quotation update utility makes it easy to update the Quotation to your current prices. Users are able to select which parameters and costs to update and which to leave unchanged. Items that can't be updated will be highlighted in red.
• Status and Follow up: The Quotation Status functionality can be used to ensure that Quotations are approved before they are e-mailed to the customer, it can also be used to indicate the reason for losing a Quotation. When a Quotation is converted to an order, the Status automatically changes to indicate that it has been accepted. Reminders can prompt Sales Reps to follow up on Quotes until they are either accepted or lost.
